Israel unveils worlds largest symbol of oppression – proving they’ll not be beaten in this area.

The world’s largest flag was unveiled in Jerusalem on Sunday, as part of celebrations to mark Israel’s sixtieth anniversary next week.

Tens of school students helped unfurl the huge Israeli flag on open ground close to Jerusalem in the early hours on Sunday.

The flag measures 2,165 feet long (659 metres) and 330 feet wide (100.6 metres) and weighs 5.7 tons (5171 kilograms), which makes it a Guinness World Record holder.

The flag was unfurled next to the Jerusalem highway, visible to those driving into Jerusalem.

The flag was produced late last year by a Filipino evangelical Christian, Grace Galindez-Gupana, and it has toured Israel.

Unfurling the record breaking flag is just one of the events planned in a vast array of ceremonies and celebrations to mark Israel’s sixtieth anniversary, which falls on May 7.

We should all gather on May 23 in Chicago to form the larget crowd ever held in the USA. Mark you calendar for May 23-25 where we assert the Palestinian National rights. We will say it loud that we will never forget. Palestinians are the Key holders of peace. Join the thousands and strengthen the network of the thousands of activists. Express your opinion and let the many panelists know of where Palestine should go. Be pro active. Enough talks, actions are required.
